And then there were three..
Here we are posing for our Valentine's Day photo a few months ago. Allie (little brown Doxie) was the first canine member of the family. She is a sweet, almost 3 yrs old little girl who loves to roll over and give you her belly to rub. Riley (Boston)is still a crazy pup - a bundle of unending energy. He always wants to play with his sister Emma and loves to chew on bones and play with toys. Emma (little black Doxie) is the "middle" child who will turn 2 in Sept. She loves to cuddle with her Mom (and Dad too) and has the cutest little wiggly butt when she is walking around. The 3 of them bring us such joy! |

My name is Bella. And everyone tells me thats exactly what I am; BEAUTIFUL. My life changed drastically a year ago when my new Mom and Dad adopted me. My life has gone from rags to riches. I gained 20 pounds and have tons of exercise and daily walks now. I am scared and bark at other animals, but Im learning that they will not hurt me like they have in the past. Im looking forward to my first Hounds on the Sound walk with Mom.

I am so glad the summer is here because i lovemy pool and my rubber duckie!! i am considered a very important part of my family and they treat me so good. I am such a luck dog. My name is Coco but they call me "the bean". I'm an 8lb mini pinscher with the attitude of a 100lb doberman. I love chasing squirrels and running really fast. I pretty much run the show but I get lots of love and treats from my mommy, daddy and friends. I'll be turning 3 years old this year but I've overcome a lot. I've been hit by a car, had a broken leg, and had hip surgery all before my first birthday. I'm in great shape now because I train everyday for the 3k Hounds on the Sound dog walk. I was rescued just in time for Independence Day last year along with 119 other beagles and 55 monkeys, too, from a laboratory in New Jersey. I had lived my life being used for pharmaceutical and cosmetic testing before being rescued and coming to Save-A-Pet, where my parents met me and tell me they fell in love with me. The day my new mom and dad came to see me I didn't see anything special about them, but they saw something special in me!
